We would like to commend two of your employees for their wonderful guiding and driving on our recent trip to Borneo Their names were Sarah and Roy. We booked our trip through Trip a deal and were lucky to have an 8 day private tour from Kota Kinabalu to Sandakan. Sarah was exceptional in her care and knowledge and Roy was a wonderful driver. They both were great company. Please let them know how much we appreciated their support.

Our guide is brilliant and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for Brendan and he went the extra mile on several occasions. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable. Our dinners at various restaurants were consistently fabulous. Planning was faultless. The trip ran smoothly. Our driver avoided as many potholes as way possible. Seeing the birds and animals of Borneo was a definite highlight. We loved every minute.

I wanted to get in touch with you as my son was the one bitten by a viper earlier this month at Sepilok Orangutan Rehabiliation Centre and I would like to provide some feedback on your amazing employees, Lina, Bennie and our driver, Aslen (sorry, I’m not sure how to spell his name).

I have never met such kind, generous and caring people. They went out of their way to ensure we were able to communicate with the hospital staff, they ensured we were fed and comfortable and transported wherever we needed to go. Lina paid for food and lent us money, she brought food from her own home and brought gifts for my son. They all showed such care and concern at such a difficult time for our family.

You must be so proud to have them working at Borneo Trails. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us. I hope they are recognised and rewarded for their incredible contribution to your company. We will never forget their kindness and compassion.

Dear Esther

My husband and I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you (for the wonderful itinerary) and our guides (Walter, Anna) and drivers (Adi & others, whom we could not remember the names).  As senior citizens, we are always looking forward to relaxing but interesting tours, suited to our physical capabilities.  The trails were exhilarating and paced evenly that we could recoup our energy to challenge the next one, which were equally exciting, comfortably.  Walter and Anna were very informative, helpful and cheerful. We learnt a lot about Sabah and the local cultures, some which quite shocked us (to be truthful).  The highlight of the tour must be the firefly cruise which gave us such amazing feelings that we have not experienced for a long time. Irfan really is a firefly wonder boy.

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves immensely and we hope to return again to Sabah, for another visit.

I had my Kota Kinabalu vacation in October and Humprey was my driver for my Sapi island trip. Although the only time we met was on the car to and from but he was very friendly. He tells us about what food is nice, share with us the cultural in Sabah and recommended us to Mari Mari culutral village if we are keen to understand more.
