Leisure Diving (for Certified Divers)

If you’re a certified diver looking for some chilled out leisure diving during your holiday in Kota Kinabalu then the scuba diving day trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is a great choice. Enjoy diving in warm waters along a range of pretty coral reefs (with depth ranging from 5m – 25m). We have over 25 logged dive sites within the Marine Park itself. We choose our dive sites based on the best diving and weather conditions on the day (and in line with diver experience / certification levels). We aim to show you different dive sites each day (weather dependable). This dive package is inclusive of dive gear (includes BCD, regulator and gauges, 3mm tropical wet suit - shorty or full length, mask, fins, snorkel).

Full Itinerary

Departure: Daily 0845 hours

0830 hours: Meet at hotel lobby and proceed to Kota Kinabalu jetty.

0900 hours: Meet our team at the Jesselton Point Jetty to start your underwater adventure. Theteam will be at the entrance of the jetty to escort you to our boat. Depart from jetty for Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, a 20-30 minutes boat transfer. The dive crew will show you around our spacious catamaran during the boat briefing. Your Dive Guide will go through with you the dive trip itinerary for the day. You will need to fill in the required PADI liability forms on your first day of diving with us. You will then be shown your dive equipment which will already be set up for you. Our PADI Instructor will then provide a full dive briefing for your first dive. Yourself and your dive buddy will do your buddy checks before starting your first dive of the day. Enjoy a nice, long relaxing dive (dive length is maximum 60 minutes, or minimum 50 bar).

1200 hours Head back to the boat and go for lunch at a café on a nearby island. Your lunch willbe hot cooked food chosen from an a la-carte menu.

1300 hours Return to the dive boat. Your Dive Guide will provide a briefing for your second dive. Get your dive gear ready and go diving along a shallow coral reef. The diving adventure continues!

1500 hours Depart by scheduled boat back to mainland
