Take a morning drive to Gayang Village, which is one of the sites where one can observe the lifestyle of the Bajau (one of Sabah indigenous ethnic groups) also known as the sea gypsy. Upon reaching the village, light refreshment will be served before embarking the river to see the houses of the Bajau's. You will be able to participate in the crab catching which is one of the activities of the Bajau people and later the traps will be collected after the end of the cruise. Observe the vegetation of the mangrove which provides not only shelter but also protection against any strong winds and tides. Stilt houses can be seen along the river banks and also fish traps which provide the fishermen extra income.
Returning back to the jetty, Batik Painting activity is one of the pastimes that the people have acquired when they embrace other customs. Try your skills on one of Malaysia's major collage industry and maybe you just might be able to bring back your priceless work of art. Transfer back to hotel.
0900 hrs: Pick up from hotel and transfer to jetty. Board a 15-minute ferry ride to Sapi Island, one of the five islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. The “Coral Flyer” is Sabah’s newest tourist attraction. It is the World’s Longest Island to island Zipline and has just opened in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. It stretches for 250 metres across the channel that divides Gaya and Sapi Islands. There are two lines allowing riders to go down in pairs and reaches speeds of up to 60km. The adventure starts at Gaya Island and takes you to the ending point on Sapi Island.
This tour is a perfect 'warming up' for the beginners (first timers) before attempting much highergrade rivers. It is also suitable for thrill seekers preferring a mild rafting adventure whilst enjoying the picturesque. The excursion covers up to 15km - duration of 1 hour 30 minutes (especially when the water level is high), making it the longest white water rafting experience in Sabah, Borneo. While having fun and enjoyable moments, you can also relax your mind and soul with the beautiful enchanting scenery that you will see along the river.
Kota Belud mangrove river cruise is approximately 1.5 hours’ drive from Kota Kinabalu where you can discover one of Sabah’s icons, the proboscis monkeys. The cruise begins along the Tempasuk River where you will be greeted by the majestic view of Mount Kinabalu at the background and before long the sight of bouncy crowds of proboscis monkeys will engross river cruisers hence do not forget to bring your binoculars. Village panorama along the cruise will equally fascinate you. Further in the cruise, a dramatic view awaits as the sunsets and if you are lucky, even a slight drizzle will add colours to the view as the rainbow appears on the horizon. For the second cruise along Nanamun River, the enchanting sight of Christmas lights emanating from fireflies in the thousands will brighten up the journey.
Pick up from hotel lobby between 1400Hrs and 1430Hrs and transfer overland to Klias ForestReserve. The journey will be along scenic coastal roads and picturesque villages. Arriving at the Klias River village jetty at 1600Hrs, coffee, tea and Malay cakes and cookies will be served. At approximately 1645Hrs, the river cruise in search of wildlife such as the proboscis monkeys, varieties of birds, monitor lizards, crocodiles, etc. will commence. Return to the jetty at 1830Hrs where traditional Malay buffet dinner will be served. As dusk sets in, reconvene your short river cruise to observe the flickering fireflies lighting up the river banks. At 1930Hrs, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
Moyog River along the village is managed by the park community and fishing activity is extremely prohibited. The secret word for this success is "TAGAL" which means "prohibition" in the Kadazandusun language. You will be fined if you are caught fishing in a “Tagal” area.

Padas is a muddy river situated in the interior of south-western part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train. Classified as grade III - IV and claimed to have the best rapids in South East Asia, Padas River is a challenging adrenaline that you must go and try for! This adrenaline rush white water rafting trip covers a distance of 9km and holds 7 tough exhilarating rapids! The rapids have amusing names such as Merry-Go-Round rapid, Break Point rapid, Scooby Doo rapid, Cobra rapid, Curve rapid, Lambada rapid and Head Hunter rapid. Each of the rapids will give you the feel and motion as what the name means. This trip is suitable for advance and skilled paddlers but we always welcome you as the first timer to join us!
DAY 1 – KOTA KINABALU/ KUDAT [L/D]
Pick up from hotel in Kota Kinabalu city for about 3hrs drive through scenic countryside to the North of Kudat, passing views of paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantation, local stalls selling handicraft and food items. En-route visit Sumangkap Village, well known for its "Gong" making skill by its local artisan and finally Gombizau Honey Bee Farm. You will be able to observe how a bee farm is managed a chance to get a taste of raw honey straight from the honeycomb! Proceed to the Bavanggazo Village for your check in to the Longhouse.
0700hrs: Pick up from hotel lobby/city area and transfer to Kudat. The journey takes approximately 3hrs drive passing by scenic countryside, paddy fields, villages, oil palm plantation; local stalls selling handicraft and food items. En-route, stop by at Gombizau Village, Bee Farm for a short visit. Then, transfer to the next stop at Sumangkap village, well known for its 'Gong' making skill by its local artisan. Proceed to Bavanggazo Village for a longhouse visit. Built entirely using local materials, it is home to the Rungus people community. There are very skilled in creating handicrafts like beadwork, baskets and costumes. Lunch before proceed to Tanjung Simpang Mengayau also known as the 'Tip of Borneo' (approximately 1 hour drive). Upon arrival, witness the spectacular breath-taking view where the South China Sea and Sulu Sea meets. Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.
