Day 1
Meet on arrival at Mulu airport and transfer to Mulu Park Headquarters. After registration, take the 3 km plankwalk to explore Lang's and Deer Caves. Watch the bats flight and return to the Park Headquarters. Transfer to your hotel.

Take a boat cruise along the Melinau River to explore Wind and Clearwater caves. Swim and picnic lunch at Clearwater pool before your transfer to Mulu airport.

3 DAYS / 2 NIGHTS BARIO VALLEY

Day 1
We depart by flight from Miri to Bario Highlands in the morning. Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge after a local set lunch. Proceed to visit the Ulung Palang and Bario Asal longhouses inhabited by the Kelabit tribe in the Bario Valley. In the evening your guide will brief you on a few points, followed by dinner and a relaxing evening.
Day 2
After an early breakfast depart by Pick-Up to Pa'Ukat longhouse and from there we start our trek to Pa'Lungan. Trekking time is around 3 hours (10KM) which takes us over one small hill (Ra'an Bulu'Barit) from Pa'Ukat where we arrive around mid-day. Relax while your guide and host family of the longhouse prepare lunch.
Before trekking back, we will visit Ritoh Monument, and continue back to Bario. We will arrive late evening in time for dinner and a well-earned overnight rest.
Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy some free time prior your departure back to Bario later in the morning.

5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS BARIO / BA'KELALAN

Day 1
You depart by flight from Miri to Bario Highlands in the morning. Upon arrival, transfer to the lodge, after a local set lunch. Day 2
Your trek to Pa'Ukat longhouse begins after breakfast. From there you head on to Pa'Lungan. Trek time is around 4 hours which takes you over one small hill (Ra'an Bulu'Barit) from Pa'Ukat where you will arrive around mid-afternoon and settle in for the rest of the day and overnight, while your guide and host family of the longhouse prepare lunch.
Day 3
On day 3, have an early breakfast followed by a visit to the Ritoh Monument before you begin the six-hour trek to Long Repun, this involves a fairly strenuous climb over Singkulup Hill, and a few river crossings! You will arrive at Long Repun jungle shelter by late evening. This marks the mid point of your journey.
Day 4
The next part of your journey leads you in to Indonesian territory! This will take around five hours and you will cross over the Ra'an Bulu Hill which marks the Malaysian / Indonesian boundary. After a stop at the Bamboo plantation for lunch, you continue your journey on to an Indonesian village called Pa'Rupai, where the Lun Dayeh tribe resides. The trek continues for another 2 to 3 hours through the padi fields to arrive at Ba'kelalan by late afternoon, where you can take dinner and settle in for the night.
Day 5
On your last day, your guide will take you to visit the Coffee and Apple plantations in the valley before you prepare for your return flight back to Miri via Lawas.

KUCHING REGION

Kuching City Tour Half Day
This is a 3 hours tour of Kuching city. Sarawak Cultural Village - The Living Museum of Sarawak

BOTANICAL TOURS

Full Day Bako National Park
This tour starts with a car ride from Kuching to the Bako Village where you will board at the jetty; the boat ride will take half an hour to arrive at the National Park. On arrival, you will register at the Park's centre and then proceed for trekking through the beautiful park to explore the fauna and flora. There are plenty of trails to choose from, so please discuss with your guide and decide which trail fits you best. Lunch is included, and will be at the canteen of this Park.

CULTURAL TOURS

We will travel 232km by car/coach, with a few stops along the way: we stop at Serian town for refreshments. You may wish to do some last minute shopping, for insect repellent or for gifts for the Ibans at Serian or visit a fascinating native fruit and vegetable market. Other stops include a visit to the pepper farm and a stop at a place where you can observe plenty of wild orchids and also pitcher plants. The last stop will be at "Lachau", a small up country Chinese village, where we will stop for lunch. You can still observe barter trading being held between the natives of Kalimantan, the Chinese shop owners and the natives of Sarawak. After lunch we proceed to the final stage of the journey, and arrive at the jetty. We proceed by native longboats, and travel by boat further up the river to arrive at an Iban longhouse. On arrival at the longhouse, we will be tour the longhouse, to meet the natives and their families. Activities for the evening include dining in the longhouse / guesthouse. The Iban women will display their handicrafts for sale.
As a tourist, do not feel obliged to buy. Just smile and nod your head… showing "No, thank you" or in Iban "Ngai, terima kasih". The Ibans will then sound their gongs and perform their traditional war dance in full ceremonial regalia.
One is often invited to join in… don't be shy… it can be fun… even if you don't understand their language. Don't leave without tasting their rice wine "Tuak". Overnight in the longhouse/guesthouse with the Ibans.
Day 2
After breakfast, a blowpipe demonstration to show off their skills to you will be farewell bid. For the adventurous, your guide can take you for a walk through the surrounding farm and forest of the longhouse. After which, return to Kuching.
