I rented a vehicle from you on March 24. The rental was handled by your employee, Xavier. I would like to commend Xavier. He was exceptionally pleasant to deal with. As someone who travels extensively and rents cars all over the world, I appreciated Xavier’s service and kind manner. I have had rental company agents who pressure their customers into upgrading to a higher car category at the time of delivery. I find this approach to be most offensive. I was grateful that Xavier did not deviate from the arrangement that I had made. And he was most accommodating with respect to delivery and pick up of the vehicle.
I think Xavier should be valued as an employee.

Hope you are doing well.
As I got back to work, right at the start of the busiest time of the year for us, could not write to you earlier.
Thanks for the wonderful and memorable trip I had to Kinabatangan along with you.
Your knowledge on the flora & fauna was very informative.
The 3 days I sent there gave me perspective of Borneo and hopefully we can work together in the future
It would be great if you could share the pictures of sightings that we had 8-10 March
Be in touch and bye for now

Hi Sahara / Bernadette,
I just wanted to say a heartfelt THANK YOU, for the tours we recently enjoyed in Kota Kinabalu. Walter was an exceptional tour guide, very friendly and accommodating. His knowledge was evident and the passion he has for his country and his job made for a very exciting visit for us. Please pass on my gratitude to Walter, I would definitely recommend him for friends and family visiting your beautiful country.

We had a fantastic day yesterday. We completed the feedback form at the end of the trip, but thought of something extra to pass on since we flew back.
The guide, Rusli, was very good and we would recommend him to anyone else. His enthusiasm for the orang utans and Sabah's conservation efforts were clear to see and he was very knowledgeable about the animals.
Our only disappointment with the trip was the lunch stop. On the itinerary and your advertising it said lunch would be at a local restaurant, which implies local food - Borneo/Malaysian cuisine. This is something we look forward to on all our trips, the chance to enjoy good local food and discover something new. So it was disappointing to discover we were going to an English restaurant with English food, when there is so much good local food on offer in Borneo. The setting was beautiful, with a good view across the bay, so this was very nice, but calling it a local restaurant is quite misleading. Rusli was able to arrange us Nasi Goreng as an alternative main course, which we appreciated.
My suggestion is this should be made clearer on the trip details that local food is not on offer. Had we known in advance, then it wouldn't have been so much of an issue.
This was a minor concern in an otherwise excellent day, but one we felt we ought to raise.

I got some fantastic feedback from our client - Karen O Sullivan.
"We had the best time in Borneo. Everything was perfect. Rusli, our guide was just brilliant and really went out of his way for us. To our delight, he even found a wild Orangutan."
I'd like to also thank you for organising a great trip for our client.
For me, I am now confident in using Borneo Trails as our main agent in Borneo.
Rusli sounds like a fantastic guide and I would appreciate if you could also pass on my praise to him too.
I look forward to your hosting of our next client - Jacqueline Mckim and many future bookings as well.
